Christ our Lord speaks encouragement to speak power:
Received 5:55 on 3/3/24
Today is another new day, one I have designed for your enjoyment. What will you do with it? Will it be spent resting, or racing? Will you be in peace and harmony with me your Lord Christ, or will you complain about those who have offended you?
All are choices that can be made before your feet touch the floor. Part of the reason you are called to prayer and fellowship is to get your heart and soul anchored in love each morning. To receive the love of our Father God and me His Son, is a precious gift. Yet we give it freely whether you have obeyed the words we speak or not. Just as you give love generously to your family, even when they behave in a way that does not please you. Our love is unconditional and without guile. You receive love because God is love. Consider the many people you know. Some exude a cheerful kindness and are filled with joy and a sweet disposition, and some are not. Those who are irritated and agitated have been pressed upon by evil, and are expressing that to others. Press into OUR love my brethren.
Choose words that build up and celebrate those around you. Give those words that I have spoken of life and health and compassion for those in bondage. Did the man who is bound by poverty choose to suffer lack? No. Did the woman who is dying from a ravenous disease choose pain? No. What of the child who is berated by an alcoholic parent? Of course not. So when you are asked “How are you?” by an acquaintance or co-worker, give them the truth. Say “I am redeemed by my Lord Christ; I have all blessings today from my God and Father; I am set free from sin and sickness; I am well”.
Do not speak of people, my people. Speak words of truth.
Today’s Written Word
II Corinthians 12:19 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Romans 5:17 NKJV For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
Acts 24:16 NKJV “This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.
II Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Mark 1:41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.
Matthew 18:33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee?
I Timothy 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.
A Word of Encouragement
Jesus Christ speaks of the love that both he and our loving heavenly Father God give to us freely and unconditionally. He is instructing us to speak the truth in love and to edify and build up those around us. Not always an easy task, especially when some are behaving in a way we don’t approve of. Thankfully, we are not instructed to judge others but only to obey the word of God ourselves. It says we are to be compassionate and live without offense. Christ’s perspective is to consider that some may be “misbehaving” due to pressures from the devils that we are also standing against.
An Action Item
Our Lord also mentioned that we can make good choices before our feet hit the floor. When we are filled with love and truth from the scriptures, and are walking in sweet fellowship with him and God, we do have peace and joy to give to others, regardless of their choices. Let’s spend some quiet time with God and His son today, building our relationship with them in prayer. Maybe we can pray for those “difficult” people in our lives and believe for them to receive God’s blessings too.
Victories and Blessings
What a fun time was had at our Sunday Bible Fellowship! Some of the victories shared were: one family was believing for treated lumber that was costly for each 16′ board. They were blessed to receive 15 of the long boards for the cost of only one! That’s multiplied blessings. Also, one of the ladies has been praying about some challenges at work, and being over burdened with far too many responsibilities. She was assigned an assistant and is no longer required to come in before normal hours. Whoo hoo! Praise God for He is good to us 🙂
Please share some of your victories, blessings and prayer requests so others can rejoice and believe with you.
