Christ speaks prophecy to his Body:

You have been given great and mighty power in the gift of holy spirit, my brethren. Few have tapped into the treasures available through it’s use. The promise of eternal life seems to be the only truth that some remember about what you have received, but that is a future reality, and the spirit was given to you for today.

When you learn the scriptures and combine the written word with understanding, you have faith. Faith mixed with the Rema word is power, and when you hear me and do as you are led, you will speak for me, and activate the power of God and all things in the heavens and earth will move in obedience. So learn the word, believe it, and speak it forth as I lead. That’s flowing in spirit.

The more word you receive and act upon, the more mature and powerful you will become in the spirit. Your spiritual life must be nourished, exercised and practiced until you become a professional. There are many athletic terms in the Bible to help us understand the spiritual competition. (as in Ephesians) And there are many military examples to illustrate the ongoing warfare in the spiritual realm. Every human since the creation of man has been part of this ongoing fight between God and satan. To win the souls of man is the goal. The devil wants to gain access in order to steal, kill and destroy out of hate and vengeance toward God. Our loving Father sent me to deliver His ruling power through the gift of spirit so we can be together in His eternal family.

You are victorious now as you learn, believe and speak the truth. It takes time to learn the scriptures. It takes time to learn of me, your Christ and Head. It takes time to develop skills in using the power of God effectively. But you have been given all you need to become dominant and skillful in this competition for souls. Pour your hearts out to me in repentance of the laissez-faire attitudes and your slothful neglect of spiritual responsibilities, and I will ask the Father to forgive all. Begin again. Begin anew. Turn your eyes to me, your Lord, and I will show you how to rule upon this earth as never before. I will lead our family to great and mighty victories in health, in wealth, and in winning multitudes of souls.

Today’s Written Word

Ephesians 6:10 – 12

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 1:17 – 23

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.

Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

A Word of Encouragement

When we read the scriptures and learn who God is and spend time with Him in prayer, we can mix our understanding of the written word with the faith of Jesus Christ. That faith and his spoken – living word to us will active God’s power and we can speak the will of God in Christ into being. What a wonderful God we have! We can become professional spiritual athletes and warriors as we exercise the gift of holy spirit within. What a fantastic encouragement to have the opportunity to compete for the souls of men and women and help our Lord rescue them.

An Action Item

It does require time and faithfulness to read and learn the word. It also takes time to gain practical understanding in how to use God’s mighty spiritual power, but the results are well worth the effort. The ability to walk and talk with our God and His Son day by day is a privilage that inspires us to let the spirit flow. Rivers of living waters shall flow out of our bellies. Now that’s a life worth investing in!
