Our Lord Christ speaks to those who wait:

A great divide is coming between those who have listened and prepared, and those who have not. Some of you are still waiting to see what will happen and when. You are about to become those who have not. I warn you out of love, for some of you have a great love for me and seek me your Lord and Christ, but you have not loved my messengers. I have told you to love one another and I have spoken many times that when you entertain strangers it is as you are hosting me. Do as I instruct now my brethren.

Do not deny the truth that has been spoken. Do not sit idle as the days elapse. For the time remaining to get yourselves ready is waning – as the cycle of the moon begins full and bright and slowly becomes a sliver- so shall your food supplies be. They are full and fat today but will disappear and no more will come. You have not seen the kind of challenges that are on your horizon my beloved. You will not be able to pay a little extra or stand in line for a couple of hours and still get what you want. The lines will come and go in a few days with much frustration and little reward. Then they will stop for all will be gone. Go now, buy now, store up now. Store all you can, all you have room for, then make room for more.

Be joyful in this work like a loving family member preparing to host a banquet. You will plan and prepare and when the hungry arrive at your door, you will have to give. Prepare to relieve their suffering by obeying me now. There is nothing more pressing than the desire for food when none can be found. Try to go without for a few days and you will understand. Try a day of drinking only water but not using any water in your home. What if you had no water coming in the tap nor hose? How would you live? Where would you go to get it? How would you get it home and would you be able to drink it? Think these things through my faithful, for many will be in need and many will suffer. Help all by telling all the time is short, the days are few. The hour has come.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness (H2822, ḥōšeḵ, fig. meaning evil or sin) for light, and light for darkness (ḥōšeḵ, evil or sin); that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Darkness, skotos, G4655, metaphorically, of moral and spiritual darkness, the evil powers that dominate the world.

Judges 5:13 Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.

Dominion, rada, H7287, to subjugate, dominate, prevail against, rule, reign.

Isaiah 5:6b, I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

Command, sava, H6680, to enjoin (instruct or urge), command, charge, appoint .

A Word of Encouragement

Although our Father God and our Lord Jesus Christ have been warning us of very difficult and dark times coming, they have also given us many reassurances that those who listen to the warnings and prepare themselves, and their homes, will be safe and will live with joy and peace. The Lord says today, “You who are faithful to hear and obey will flourish in the face of death and darkness.” Much power has been made available to God’s believing family and we have been given authority to command that our food, our jobs and finances come to us in sufficient supply to meet all our needs. Believers are strengthened in the Lord to stand successfully against the darkness.

An Action Item

It is definitely time to be taking action, preparing ourselves spiritually, mentally, and physically for the times of troubles we have been warned of. Though it may be difficult to comprehend spiritual darkness affecting us, we can consider our world, near and far, and see the need to have food, water, and supplies along with alternate heating and power sources in case of various calamities. Thankfully we have God and Christ’s love and care, and the many promises in God’s word telling us that He is for us and none can succeed against us. Romans 8:31-39 states…if God be for us, who can be against us?…none will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
