God speaks prophecy to all who are seeking to grow nearer to Him:
Be near me by being filled with my words. Be in prayer and meditation. Be still when asking of my wisdom and break free from the distractions that surround you. Quiet your minds and let peace, the peace I give, be your filter for truth. Care not for the things of the world- the screens that fill your minds with lust and pornography. Yes I see you my children and I do not approve. Many family movies and G rated shows are filled with evil and adultery, yes even Hallmark has bowed to evil.
Come away with me in your thoughts and be immersed in my truth. I have given you life to share with me. A Sabbath day to rest and reflect and be with me your Creator. Begin again. Listen to my leading and set aside one seventh of your days, one seventh of your hours to praise and worship your God. Be aware of all I give and how I give it so you may receive.
I am all light and truth. I am in you as you are in me. Abide in me and I in you, have the mind of Christ and think as he leads you to me. Your life is not your own for ye are alive through Christ, and he is your life.
Remember the vine and the branches? Christ is your nourishment, the vine that delivers the living water to your spirit so that life force may flow. Let my love and truth flow into you through him and receive healing my children. Cut off the evil and receive not the poison of this world.
Today’s Written Word
Psalm 119:97-99 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation.
Meditation, śîḥâ, Strong’s Hebrew word H7881: reflection; by extension, devotion
I Corinthians 2:16 Amplified Bible For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND and PURPOSES OF THE LORD, SO AS TO INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ [to be guided by His thoughts and purposes].
Mind, nous, Strong’s Greek word G3563: the intellect, i.e. mind; in I Corinthians 2:16 “mind of Christ” is to be furnished with the understanding of Christ
1 Samuel 12:24 Only fear (revere) the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
Psalm 86:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear (revere) thy name.

A Word of Encouragement
God, our heavenly Father, expresses His desire that His family be near Him. In Psalm 73:28, the psalmist Asaph says, it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works. It is good for us too to draw near and abide near God in our daily lives. He tells us how to be near to Him which is by being filled with His words, be in prayer and meditation and to have our thoughts immersed in His truth. This is the way of life for Christian believers – to have our focus, our minds, set toward God rather than toward worldly matters.
An Action Item
God’s prophecy for us today is filled with action items that will bring us near to God. One line that really has me thinking is, “Listen to my leading and set aside one seventh of your days, one seventh of your hours to praise and worship your God.” I know there would be great blessings in doing that; I would need to transfer a lot of “screen” time and entertainment time to time with God in prayer, worship, Bible reading, listening and writing what God inspires in me. Foregoing the TV news some days would certainly help quiet my mind and let God’s peace be my filter for truth.
