God our Father speaks to His faithful believers:

Big changes are heading your way. Big blessings, big healings and big, big open windows and opportunities. Look! Look up and look forward. Slam the doors on your past and run forward – run to my joy and have a light heart. Be fulfilled in me and all my son is doing. Work hard and play hard in my scriptures. Get a big shovel and dig down deep for I have hidden treasures there for you who are faithful to search. 

People dig for treasures because they are of great value. The gold in the mountains, the coins from ships that sank long ago or the jewels of royal families from cultures of old. Some treasures are beautiful to look at or to display, but most seek them so they can add wealth to their estate. The greatest treasure in the earth is my word to you. With it you can purchase eternal life, spiritual power, freedom from any prison, supply from any lack, and all you will ever need to know for success. You can actually speak my will into being and I will move as you speak. 

Seek me and my wisdom my children. Look to me and no other. Hold tight to each other and every promise I have given, and be confident that I will indeed bring it to pass- both the written prophecies and those you have and are receiving now. Hold tight to me and each other. Hold on and be prepared for a bumpy ride for a short time as we cross through the stormy seas, but know that your ships are about to come in- fully laden with treasures from afar, treasures from above. 

Dance, shout and sing praises to me. Rejoice in celebration.

A Word of Encouragement

God asks us to seek Him and His wisdom. We can do that by spending time reading God’s word, praying and listening to Him, and praising Him in the spirit, truly. He also encouraged us to hold tight to Him and every promise He has given us. I don’t know every promise in the scriptures, but I know I can build my confidence and trust in God by spending time with Him and being in the Word. Every truth He unveils to us is a treasure, some are deep and secret until He points them out. What a joy to be close to Him.

An Action Item

Thinking of physical treasures, I remember a documentary I saw a while back. The crew of about five people spent years looking for a Spanish merchant ship that had disappeared in a storm in the late 1800’s. They spent several years, several million dollars on equipment and boats and sonar, and of course found the treasure! I wonder how long it would have taken them if God was pointing the way? Let’s be treasure hunters for truth today and seek out the secret things of God that only the faithful and diligent find.

What a great joy and lively celebration we had hosting the first teachings of the new “God’s Living Word” Bible study class Sunday night! Keep praying for our success. There is much work and also much more joy ahead. Praise God.
