God our Father speaks prophecy to all:
Joy, joy and more joy in coming now! More love and blessings than you can keep up with. Be joyful my children. Speak of your blessings and all the miracles you are about to receive to all who will listen. They too are longing for help and answers and they will all rejoice with you as you help them to turn to me for their abundance to flow in.
Come near and wait upon my voice and I will speak. Be ready to write my words down and rehearse them in your own ears. Be willing to trust in me to give you a good hope and a bright future in the midst of devastation and sorrow. Come now my beloved and receive all for I am here and waiting to bless you. Do all as I speak, even if it is unusual or seems silly to you. Obey and see for I am the God who parted the Red Sea and dropped manna from heaven. I made water to flow from a rock and opened the heavens when rain poured down to lift up the ark. I am the great God Almighty and when I speak the earth and skies respond as I say.
I will give you the words now to command them to obey your voice. Come now and learn of me so that you may do the works of my son Jesus Christ and greater. The days have come now when you will soon be required to hear my voice and obey in order to live on. Be well connected now my children. Be awakened out of your spiritual slumber and cry out for me your forgiving and faithful God. I am here – waiting.
Today’s Written Word
Acts 8:5-8 5Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. 6And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 7For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. 8And there was great joy in that city.
Miracle: semeion, Strong’s Greek word 4592: an indication, especially ceremonially or supernaturally: translated as miracle, sign, token, wonder.
As in Philip’s case in Samaria, God’s energizing of miracles was a way by which God authenticated He had sent Philip and that Philip’s preaching of Christ was supported by God.
Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
Miracle: dynamis, Strong’s Greek word 1411: force (literally or figuratively); specially, miraculous power (usually by implication, a miracle itself)
Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
Almighty: pantokratōr, Strong’s Greek word 3841: the all-ruling, use only of God who holds sway over all things; the ruler of all; translated as almighty, omnipotent
Romans 11:8 According as it is written, God hath given them (the disobedient and gainsaying (opposers, refusers) the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear; unto this day.
Slumber: katányxis, Strong’s Greek word 2659: insensibility or torpor (inactivity) of mind, a spirit of stupor (near-unconsciousness)
A Word of Encouragement
God’s encouragement today is to be joyful and speak of His many blessings and His displays of miraculous power that he has promised will occur even during difficult times. God wants us to write down and repeat His words for our own ears to hear. We are to be willing to trust God to give us good hope and a bright future in the midst of devastation and sorrow. The devil’s purposes are to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10a) but God will bless, protect, and give us joy during the times when it seems all the systems of the world are against God’s people. God has almighty power and we can trust that He is willing and “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20).
An Action Item
We have clear instruction on an action item today. “Be ready to write my words down and rehearse them in your own ears.” How do we become “ready to write”? How did the Super Bowl athletes become ready to play? How do musicians become ready to perform? They practice; and we can practice too. Yes, we can become ready to write God’s words to us down on paper or on a screen by regularly praying, listening and then writing what God impresses on our minds by Spirit to spirit connection. God’s communications can be very subtle; perhaps He does that to get us listening attentively. Our Living Word ministry was initiated by God to get more people “hearing” Him and conducting their lives according to both the doctrines of God’s written word, the Bible, and by His “spoken” words in certain situations and moments in life today. Our skill at perceiving and receiving God’s word is sharpened by practice. When the lines of communication are open, we can also ask questions and receive answers. Let’s establish a practice, a habit, of making time daily to listen to God and be ready for the Big Game.
