The Lord Jesus Christ speaks prophecy to the lost and weary:

COME HOME! This is the hour to turn back to God and to find his peace in this world of confusion. Do not argue about the past, nor seek to justify your positions, but turn and run toward your Father of holiness. This is your opportunity to receive forgiveness and everlasting salvation from death and destruction. Do not delay nor be dissuaded by your doubts and questions, but turn now.

Desperate days are on the horizon and a new day is dawning. A day of much change and upheaval. You can begin again upon the mountain with your spiritual eyes open and all the wisdom of God in you, or you can stay in the valley of despair without God and without hope. That is a bleak picture I know, but a true one. My people will rule and reign during these times of death and famine, but not without my leading and the power of God. You will need every advantage and spiritual insight to survive and thrive. Listening directly to me and walking by my spirit will be your only hope.

All will seem hopeless and all will be very dark, but fear not for you can turn to me even in the darkest hours. You can escape the utter darkness and destruction that the evil one has planned by turning to me and repenting of your sins. Be clean from the ways of the world and live in true righteousness. The only way is to hear and obey. Once you have received of me your light will shine and truth and favor will flood your lives. Darkness and famine will be no more and you will be filled to overflowing. Turn now and be in our love and plenty. Leave the sorrows and confusion behind and run with commitment to lay hold on eternal life. Your days of opportunity are numbered and very few remain.

Today’s Written Word

Luke 15:18 I will arise and go home to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

Luke 15:20-24

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:

For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Acts 2:38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit“. ESV

A Word of Encouragement

We are pressing on the upward way, a familiar song to some of us. It is often through great pain and hopelessness that people turn to Christ, after many years in the valley of despair. We don’t have to wait that long, because all are welcome in the family of God right now. Right now, today! All can confess Jesus Christ as Lord and savior and turn from sinning against God, to repent and live for Him. Our everlasting life and eternal futures are completely dependent on whether we believe and turn to Jesus Christ. Believe, and be with the family of God for all of eternity.

An Action Item

There are two requirements to become a saved or born again Christian. In Romans chapter 10 verses 9 and 10, God says:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt ( absolutely without exception) be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

That’s it! No special prayers, no confessing of old sins, no church pastors or water baptism required. This is a confession to make Jesus Christ our personal Lord and to turn our lives over to following him. Say it now, and believe it in your heart, and know for sure that our mighty God and Father has raised Jesus up from the dead, and He will give you new spiritual life.

Upcoming Meetings:

We welcome you to join us on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 pm (PST) for Bible Fellowship, songs, prayer and teaching of the scriptures in person or listen by phone. The meeting is followed by a family style meal and joyful fellowship with God’s family. See the online calendar for details.

The Tuesday morning meeting is at 10:00 am. Enjoy Tea & Coffee, Bible study and an interactive time in the scriptures.

Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm we will serve light snacks, and enjoy an interactive topical Bible study. Our family style dinner has been moved to Sundays following the fellowship meeting.
