Awake to righteousness and turn to truth. Stand upon my word and not in your own strength. Be as I have said and do as I have instructed. Choose the path of holiness and sanctify your lives from evil. What you allow into your hearts and minds will be returned out of your mouths. Defile not yourselves but fill your hearts and minds with the truth. Take in all that is good to the use of edification. Discard every evil thing and cast it far from you. Turn off the TV shows that promote evil, division, hatred and strife. Do not engage in conversations of debate nor stand with those who have mocked my words and my prophets.

Move now, and stand with me and those who hear my voice. Leave the stagnant ponds for living waters that flow with power and energizing life. I have made you to shine forth in health and purity. You know the difference between fresh and stale, between living and dead- choose life. Choose to serve in joy and walk in spirit and truth. Those trapped in religion cannot see the truth for they follow after man, and my light cannot be understood by the natural man.

Ask of me wisdom and I will give it. Listen to my life-giving words and I will fill you with my glory and you will pour it out upon the needy and desperate. You may receive great treasures of understanding and clever inventions as you look to me. The dividing line between mine and those of the darkness is
becoming more broad, and will soon become a great divide. Move to my side now before the chasm is too great to cross. Do not be left behind with those who have refused my invitation to life. Go now to stand with me and to hear and obey. All is new; all is renewed. All who will be refreshed by me. COME!

Today’s Written Word

1 Corinthians 15:33, 34 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Sanctify, sanctified = hagiázō = G37. Definition:

to make holy. In this usage, to separate from things profane and dedicate to God.

2 Timothy 2:19b -22 And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

A Word of Encouragement

The two areas in our lives that the adversaries attack the most are our time in God’s word and our time with Him in prayer. These are precious to our Father and to us. When we are full of the Word of God, we are filled with light and light dispels darkness. When we are focused in prayer and walking in praise and thankfulness, we are quick to correct any thoughts or words that are not holy. ”Out of the heart the mouth speaks”. Luke 6:45

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

An Action Item

Let’s take a fresh look at what we are putting into our hearts and minds today. If we are getting a good amount of the truth in each day, are we also keeping the defiled things out? Are there people or websites, or TV shows that we’re watching that promote evil, division, hatred and strife. I can think of a few. Let’s cast those out of our lives for good. It’s our choice to spend our time where and how we want each day. We can choose life and choose truth over lies and evil. Let’s live in joy and health and living water!

Upcoming Meetings:

We welcome you to join us on Sunday afternoons at 3:00 pm for Bible Fellowship, songs, prayer and teaching of the scriptures in person or listen by phone. The meeting is followed by a family style meal and joyful fellowship with God’s family. See the online calendar for details.

The Tuesday morning meeting is at 10:00 am. Enjoy Tea & Coffee, Bible study and an interactive time in the scriptures.

Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm we will serve light snacks, and enjoy an interactive topical Bible study. Our family style dinner has been moved to Sundays following the fellowship meeting.
