Today’s Living Word – Run to Me

5–7 minutes

God our Father speaks prophecy to His children:

What did you see when you awoke my children? A light in the sky or a dark cloud? Has the time of working and going about been stopped? No, but soon all will stop. You will not go out to travel for work nor gathering, for all will be silent. No commerce will happen and you will be left to fend for yourselves. Do not laugh off this warning, nor attempt to discredit the messengers for I am prompting their writings to save you. I am speaking to all who will listen, to those who will look and see the preview of scenes to come. My plans are set and I will not abandon them, nor you.

This is a season of rest and quiet. The world is promoting stress and racing about to many activities to waste your time and money, and even your health. This is not my will. Be still and sit a while with me my beloved and I will bring you refreshing. Place your hands out and I will fill them with treasures of gold and riches untold. Rest, be still. Do not be pressured to measure up, or keep up, or mask up. This is not my will. You are free in my Christ. Free to say no to worldly traditions and no to worldly pressures.

Does the activity make you feel guilty or tired? Drop it. Have family and friends required your time and you are not blessed to be with them? Don’t go. This is a crucial time in your lives and each and every moment you SPEND with people is an opportunity for the evil ones to distract, mislead and condemn you. Don’t bite. You are my royal priesthood. Do they recognize your authority in Christ? Is there a hush about the room as you enter, or whispers of how gullible you are? Be with those who strengthen you my children. Be with others who know me and will do my will despite the gossip. Do not stand in a room with sinners, nor sit in the company of the mockers. Hear them not, for they will dismantle your believing.

Run to me my little ones. Run to my sheltering wings. Run to my words of praise and love. Run to my warehouse filled with gifts of wisdom and fruits of spiritual nourishment. Run to seek all I can give you. Be near me, be in me, be all I have made you and stand in my power and abundance today.

A Word of Encouragement

God is calling us to run to Him for refreshing. Many think of a beautiful waterfall or being at the ocean and hearing the waves roll in as refreshing. When we are out in nature and only hear the sounds of the breeze and the water, it is truly refreshing to our minds and bodies, but also to our spirit. God wants us to have peace and plenty in every day. Living for Him and walking by the spirit helps us to filter out the background noise of life. To focus on what is really important to us, and drop those activities and ungodly people who are not building us up. God’s desire is for us to claim peace and prosperity, regardless of the world.

An Action Item

Let’s run toward God today. Run toward His love and praise of all we do right. Run toward his care and abundance and hold out our hands to receive his gifts. Let’s be near Him today and enjoy all He has to offer us as our wonderful, mighty God and Father.
