Today’s Living Word – Enough!

4–7 minutes

God our Father speaks prophecy:

I am calling out to all who may turn now – calling to wake them up. Calling to arouse them from sleep. Calling for any and all to stand up, step forward and wield the sword of my spirit. The active, moving, powerful sword. It is called a sword because it actually cuts through the darkness. You cannot see it my children, but it is working and moving as you speak my words. If you had a visual of all that happens in the spirit realm when you believe and speak my words – you would never stop!

Speak truth into the darkest areas of your lives my children and chase it out. The devil flees from you when you resist. Resisting is not ignoring him but actively pushing him out with my weapons of warfare, the words of my word. Put on your helmet of salvation before his fiery darts fly toward you. Be whole in my Christ. Wear the shield of believing on your right hand and block every stroke from the evil ones. Stand upon my words of peace for they will uphold you when all begins to shake and roll. Be anchored and centered in my truth. Bind it about you and be tethered to me in all the shifting and shaking!

This violent adjustment is not to harm you my children but to shock those sleepers awake. They may accuse you and deny all that you have tried to warn them about, all that is coming in the days ahead. Once the dark clouds roll in and the rains descend, they will consider. When the heavens open and the lightning falls they will call out. When the snow is heavy and all stops, they will know it is I, the Great I Am who rules the heavens and the earth. Turn toward me my children, focus your eyes upon me and my word and hold it tight. Hold to all I have spoken in these days. DO NOT BE SHAKEN. DO NOT BE AFRAID. DO NOT BE IN THE MIDST OF CALAMITY. Watch in awe as I fight for and deliver you in this hour. ENOUGH SIN, ENOUGH SLUMBER, ENOUGH SUFFERING, ENOUGH I SAY- ENOUGH!

Today’s Written Word

Romans 13:3 For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval,

13:4 for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.

13:8 Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.

James 4:6, 7 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Step 1 is to Submit: hypotassō = G5293. Definition:

  1. to arrange under, to subordinate
  2. to subject, put in subjection
  3. to subject one’s self, obey
  4. to submit to one’s control
  5. to yield to one’s admonition or advice
  6. to obey, be subject

Step 2 is to Resist: anthistēmi = G436. Definition:

  1. to set one’s self against, to withstand, resist, oppose
  2. to set against, withstand

James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

A Word of Encouragement

God is calling all who may come to wake up, step up and speak against the darkness. I often hear James 4:7 quoted without the first half of the verse. When we read the context of 4:6,7,8 we gain understanding that God graces the humble; He says to submit ourselves to Him and the devil will then flee, and He says to draw near to Him and He will draw near to us. We are indeed in a spiritual battle and we need spiritual power to wield against our adversary. As humans we have none, but as children of the most High God we have been given the power and authority to rule over every evil in the authority of Jesus Christ. Our weapons are spiritual and our sword of the spirit is God’s mighty word.

An Action Item

In Ephesians 6:13-20 we see our detailed charge to put on the whole armour of God so that we may stand against the devil and compete effectively by SPEAKING his word which cuts though the lies and darkness. We tether ourselves to God and his word and we are safe, at peace and victorious. Do you know someone who is in darkness? We can cut through the depression and hopelessness and speak light. We can chase the darkness out of our own lives and homes be speaking God’s word, by praying, by drawing near to our mighty God. Let’s turn toward God and see his deliverance for He has said – ENOUGH!

Victories and Blessings

The Board of Directors for Living Word meet once a week to plan and discuss the work and vision for the ministry. It is a blessing to get together and be in harmony and unity with the Father, His Son and each other. At each meeting we prayer, we hear messages of prophecy, we share and discuss what we are learning in the scriptures, and we discuss ministry items. We are very thankful that the word of God, both written and spoken, is the foundation and focus of our fellowship with the Father, the Son and each other. Praise God for He is good always!

Please share some of your victories, blessings and prayer requests so others can rejoice and believe with you.
