God our Father speaks prophecy:

Living for me in a crooked and perverse world is not always easy. There are pitfalls and deception around every corner. Each decision you make can lead to peace and victory or falling into a trap of the adversary. You are placed on my highway of righteousness my children. I walk with you, hand in hand as any loving Father does. As long as you hold tight to my connection, you are in safety. When you tire of obedience and “take a break” from reading my words and praying, you begin to walk in the weeds. Stay on the open path. There are signs and reminders from me as you go. Directional signs are not randomly set in a ditch or out in left field, they are placed along the highways and paths you follow when traveling. You use signs for directions to know how far you have come and how much farther to your destination. You can see the signs pointing to where the hazards are “Sharp curves ahead, slow down”, and “wrong way, do not enter”. You can also use signs to see the sights, “scenic outlook ahead”, or “park trail entrance”.

My words are your guide to an abundant life. They show you how and where to walk. They correct you when you are off course and show you the way to health and prosperity. Those are my destinations for all of my children. Not sickness and sorrow. Not mental illness and medications. Those are not from me. The adversaries have made the world a wilderness. A dark and confusing place where most of my people are groping in the darkness. Wake up! Turn on the light of my word and come to me your God of wisdom and deliverance, and I will show you the way.

Get out of the world and into my word. Hear my direction as you read. Come to me in prayer and listen to my leading for you each day. I will not lead you astray, nor fail to speak when you call out for answers. There is a reason I refer to those who are not yet saved as the “lost”. They have not been connected to me by my spirit yet. They do not know my Son Jesus Christ and so they are only body and soul. My words are foolishness unto them and my voice they cannot hear. Lead them to me today. Place their hand in mine and show them the way.

Romans 15:18,19

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,

Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

II Corinthians 12:12

Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

A Word of Encouragement

God is so good to us, to give us His written and spoken words. He points the way to live, walk and speak so we can be right in the center of his will. Living and going down those paths and highways that are joyful and lead us toward Him. Toward health, peace and prosperity. Let’s look closely at the signs God is showing us in his word. The messages to turn to Him and away from the world. To open our hearts and minds to hear Him and not to look at the evil in the world. Those things are not of Him, not His will for us.

An Action Item

God spoke of us walking hand in hand with Him in close relationship. The better we know Him, the easier it is to do as He encourages us. Let’s stay on the highway of holiness, where all the blessings and abundance are. Each day we look into God’s word we see more signs and clearer signs of what is right and best according to His will. What seemed like a reasonable choice last year may seem like a very dangerous one now. We are growing in understanding day by day as we learn more about who God is and how He shows us to walk the paths that are best according to His will for us today. He will open our eyes so we can see the spiritual signs that point the way as we choose to spend more time with Him.

Upcoming Meetings:

We welcome you to join us at a new time on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm for Bible Fellowship, songs, prayer and teaching of the scriptures in person or phone in. The meeting is followed by a meal and joyful fellowship in God’s family. See the online calendar for details.

The Tuesday morning meeting is at 10:00 am. Enjoy Tea & Coffee, Bible study and an interactive time in the scriptures.

Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm we will serve light snacks, and enjoy an interactive topical Bible study. Our family style dinner has been moved to Sundays following the fellowship meeting.
