Today’s Living Word – In Christ

3–5 minutes

Our Lord Jesus Christ speaks prophecy:

Yes our God is a living God. A God and Father who is ever present to save, heal and restore. Turn to Him in the darkest of days and He will give you rest. He will lift you up above the trials and failures of life. Follow me, your Lord Christ, and I will lead you to Him, to His heart of forgiveness and peace, for He will give peace when there is none to be found.

I have been sent unto you for direction and leadership, for strengthening and might. I work in each of you to point the way to walking in His holiness. Do not fret nor struggle to hear me my brethren. Stand in peace and wait upon your God and He will send me to speak to you. Do the works I have sent you to do, and I will give you instruction as you move. Be willing to obey all, to go where you have not been and to speak to those you may have walked past before. I am a Lord and savior to all people and all are in need of rescue today.

The faithful are under a deep slumber in many churches- go ye into those tombs and blow the trumpets. Awake, awake, awake! Shout to them of my deliverance and the need to arise and speak. Be bold as lions for me your Lord and command the attention of those who may be willing to hear and serve. To the newly rescued, be all love and kindness. Help them find their feet by supporting them as they grow. Show them how to connect to me and to press toward the mark. Every voice can sing praises unto our God and speak of His wondrous works. Let the people rejoice, let the captives go free, let the redeemed of the Lord say so.

We are calling you to serve today my brethren, my Father and I. Stand and speak for the turning has begun. Stand for righteousness. Speak light and love in the face of darkness and hate. Speak for our mighty God, for your voice is required in this day.

Today’s Written Word

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

A Word of Encouragement

Our God is a living God, and He is alive and helping us to be safe and heal us. He gives us rest and comfort in difficult times. Our Lord Jesus Christ is our way to our heavenly Father God. We can tell everyone about our Lord and savior, and he will lead and direct us as we move.

An Action Item

Is there anything you have been wanting to do, but haven’t quite gotten around to? As we begin to move, our Lord Jesus will give us direction. Sometimes the smallest action in the right direction will open doors wide. Be brave and move forward today. Take action on a specific personal goal, or reach out and help someone in need with a call or a word of encouragement. Our voices are required in this day.
