God our Father speaks prophecy:
Rising takes effort but also brings a better perspective. Like climbing up a mountain takes a concentrated effort, planning, and setting aside other activities. You discover new sights and sounds you have not seen and heard before. After much determination you are rewarded with stunning views of vistas and rivers below that you have not experienced before.
My walk of holiness is like climbing up a mountain. You must choose my path. You must set aside things of the world that distract you from your focused walk. “Do not look to the right nor the left” is a warning not to allow your eyes and ears to lead you toward sin and worldly lust. Stay your eyes on me and my word. Hear me my children. See who I am by reading my word. Do not fill your eyes and ears with the evil in the world for it is a detour that leads back to the trenches of the world and not my mountain top.
Come up higher. Meet me in prayer and fasting. Stop those behaviors that delay and distract you from my will for you. Put your efforts into finding me and discovering my will for each of you each day. For those who will hear and obey and live in sanctification and holiness will surely receive my treasures. Wisdom and joy will I pour out upon them that diligently seek me. Grace and mercy shall be your crown and my hand of blessing shall be upon all you have and all you do shall prosper.

A Word of Encouragement
Today is the only day we can live now. The past is over and we are encouraged by God to let the sins and sorrows of the past be forgotten. He is calling us to come up higher in our spiritual walk with Him. To live sanctified and apart from the distractions that keep us from moving farther and faster in our spiritual growth. Are there any habits that are holding you back? Does something interrupt your time in the scriptures or prayer? What habits promote a joyful and holy relationship with God and His son? Let’s be diligent to seek after God so we can walk in truth and live in holiness and sanctification.
An Action Item
Let’s try to eliminate one habit that turns ours eyes away from God and replace it with one that brings us closer to Him. Perhaps there’s a T.V. show that elevates the evil in the world, and you can choose to watch a teaching of God’s word instead. Perhaps you listen to the radio on the way to and from work each day, and you can play scriptures or pray out loud for the purposes of God to be fulfilled. God said: For those who will hear and obey and live in sanctification and holiness will surely receive my treasures. Wisdom and joy will I pour out upon them that diligently seek me. Grace and mercy shall be your crown and my hand of blessing shall be upon all you have and all you do shall prosper.
