God our Father speaks prophecy:

Come unto me in prayer and fasting my little ones. Be humble and show reverence to your mighty God as you set aside the things of the world for a time. Be still and know me, for you cannot hear a whisper when a freight train is barreling by you, nor can you understand the deep things of God when you are skipping across the surface of my word. Pause for a time each day and give me your ear. I will reveal unto you the answers to your questions. I will show you the scriptures that hold the keys to your deliverance and I will lead you along the path I desire you to walk upon in my service in this life.

You must come unto me to know me. I will not chase you down, nor force my love, nor demand obedience from you. You are mine by choice. I have chosen to call you and you have chosen to answer in coming unto me through Christ. Obey Him now. Hear Him now. Read of His character and all the signs and miracles He did while He walked upon the earth. He walks and works within you now. You are my hands and feet as you are led by Him. He is that spirit within you guiding you as you trust in me. We are spirit, your Father God, Jesus Christ, and you also, but you have a physical body that can be seen by others upon the earth. Use it to get their attention and show those signs and miracles today by my power and by Christ’s leading.

You are mine to do my work and to bring my words and deliverance to all of mankind today, this day my children, not some distant day in the future. Be holy and leave the darkness behind you. Forget your past as I have forgotten it and forgiven you in Christ. Be new and renewed by the spirit within you and follow after, yea pursue diligently the things of your God. For I am your living God who has delivered you and will certainly deliver all who will answer my call to freedom and newness of life.

Today’s Written Word

Prayer, proseuchē = G4335. Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Definition: communion with God, prayer and communications addressed to God.

Fasting, som = H6685. Jeramiah 36:6 Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD’S house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

Definition: to fast, the act of fasting, som means “to cover” the mouth or from the Greek word nesteu, meaning “to abstain.”

Biblically, one abstains from food or some other good practice in order to focus in prayer or another spiritual discipline to gain clarity and deliverance for ones self or another through focus on God.

Signs, sēmeion = G4592. Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Definition:  

1. an unusual occurrence, transcending the common course of nature;
   a. of signs portending remarkable events soon to happen: 
   b. of miracles and wonders by which God authenticates the men sent by him, or by which men prove that the cause they are pleading is God’s: 

Miracles, dynamis = G1411. Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

Definition: strength power, ability to release miraculous power

1. inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth
2. power for performing miracles

A Word of Encouragement

What a joy to serve the true God! The living God, the Father of our Lord Christ and our Father too. He is everywhere present and always available when we turn to Him. In prayers, fasting and when we separate ourselves from the noise of the world, we can hear Him. Yes he speaks to us by His written word and He is also talking to us day by day. All of those thoughts we have that line up with His will and His words are from Him. All that is good encouraging and helpful in our lives and others. Let’s listen and act upon His words, today.

An Action Item

Decide to take action on the inspired thoughts you have today. Be on the look out for Him to work in your heart and mind and then be willing to move on what He gives you. It is a joy to walk with Him.

We have added two new times for Bible study, prayer, and Q. and A. time to our schedule this week! 

We welcome you to join us on Tuesdays at 10:00 am for Coffee, Bible study and an interactive time in the scriptures.

Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm we will serve a light soup or salad type meal, and enjoy a topical Bible study.
