Today’s Living Word

3–5 minutes

God our Father speaks prophecy:

Speak deliverance to all my beloved. Speak joy and rejoicing in Christ who sets men free. Speak freedom and peace from tyranny and unjust governments. Speak love when all are pushing hate. Be those shining lights that I will energize to penetrate the thick darkness of sorrow and calamity when it comes. Stand before me and receive all I have to bless you with in your times of need and share it with others who are groping in the darkness.

Your words are life giving and powerful. Choose them wisely my children. Use them as weapons in this spiritual warfare. Truly my words are your sword of the spirit. Wield it against thoughts of defeat and sickness. Say out loud “I am victorious for I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. Say out loud ” I am healthy and healed for by his stripes I was healed”.

Be the ones who refuse to confess doubt and unbelief. Refuse to speak of sin and defeat but rather reprove them. Lift up your friends and families and show them your mighty Lord will deliver them as he has delivered you. Stand my children. Stand strong and sure. Stand in faith and obey my son as he leads you to victory in this hour.

Today’s Written Word

Acts 5:20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.

John 6:33 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Ephesians 6:17-20 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and suppli-cation for all saints;

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

A Word of Encouragement

Herald forth His word with confidence! This is a great time to speak of God’s deliverance through His son Jesus Christ. We have so many victories to share and so many blessings to tell others about. God said that his words are our weapons of spiritual warfare. There is a battle raging every day between good and evil, between choosing life and peace, or confusion and death. We have chosen Christ and are living examples of his light and freedom.

An Action Item

Let’s go out today and uplift someone who is down. When we hear someone speaking words of sickness and defeat, let’s offer to pray with them. A gentle, healing touch or even a loving smile can make all the difference to a person who is fighting against the challenges the world throws at us. Offer words of life, power and hope to those who need encouragement. Wield your sword of the spirit by sharing God’s word and pierce through the darkness!

Victories and Blessings

At work a couple of days ago, one of John’s patients shared she was having a difficult time as her daughter had suddenly and unexpectedly lost her beloved husband. After a brief conversation, the patient knew John was a Christian and she asked him, “What happens to a person after they die?” It was a genuine question asking for understanding. John was so blessed to have Biblical answers about body, soul, and spirit, about the gathering together of believers at the Lord Jesus’ return, and about the new spiritual body. He spoke with her about God’s word on this subject in I Cor. 15 and I Thes. 4 and wrote these references down for her to read at home for herself. The woman expressed her thankfulness for the conversation and for the comforting scripture verses. The conversation was an uplifting blessing for both people.
