Today’s Spoken Word

3–4 minutes

God our Father speaks prophecy:

Here am I, send me“. Words that were spoken by Isaiah to inspire you my children. Those words express a willing heart to hear and obey. To selflessly serve others rather than yourselves. Take a few minutes to reflect on the times you have served me in the past. Think of the people you have loved and helped with my words. Do you remember the joy you felt as they accepted Christ as their Lord? Or their joy in being set free from sin and guilt unto life everlasting? Worthy goals don’t you think?

The life that flows through you brings new life to others. Spiritually and physically as you minister to them in my love, in Christ’s stead. Let my Son lead you my children. He knows where the lost and hurting ones are. He will show you the way to them and give you the words to speak to restore them from isolation to being redeemed and bring them inside my inner courts where my royal family lives and abides in me. Stand in faith. Stand in Christ. Stand strong my children for you have overcome the evil one by my Son. He has delivered you and will help you to deliver others in his stead, in his power, in his name above all names, Jesus Christ – King of kings and Lord of lords.

Today’s Written Word

Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

I Corinthians 16:13 & 14 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do, be done with love.

I Timothy 6:11 – 15

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickens (gives spiritual life and power) all things,

and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate ( mighty in authority – royal minister), the King of kings, and Lord of lords; (Ruler of all who rule, and master or owner of all masters).

A Word of Encouragement

In Ephesians 3:16 God states that we are strengthened with might in our inner man by his spirit. That’s our spiritual man, the new man, the Christ within us. He also tells us that the power we have to overcome every challenge comes from Him. God is the author of all life and the source of all power. He has fully equipped us to be more than conquers in this life through Christ. We are able ministers for our Lord Jesus Christ as we move forward in his encouragement to reach others with the good news of salvation.

An Action Item

In Acts 5:20 an angel of the Lord appeared and said to the apostles “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.”

The apostles were ambassadors for Christ, like we are today. They went immediately to the temple – early in the morning, and taught. Let’s go out today and stand for Christ, and speak of his salvation by grace. We can each ask a few people a simple question today: “Are you saved?” or “Is Jesus Christ your Lord?” or “Are you a Christian?” Find a few people and speak up for Christ. God guarantees we will be blessed as we speak the truth in love.
