Today’s Spoken Word

2–3 minutes

God our Father speaks prophecy:

Who are my children? Are they those who profess Christianity? No. Are they those who are loved by the world? Certainly not. My children are those who love the Lord Jesus Christ and have confessed him as their Lord. Those are my children, for I have given them my spirit, my holy seed within them. They are beings of everlasting life and the lights of the world. The world cannot see me my children, but they can see you. Be beacons of light to them. Shine through the darkness and awaken them to my love as the sun awakens the planet each day. Shine upon them in warmth and kindness to open their hearts as the sunflower to the sun.

You can do it. I will help you to love the lost and unloveable. They are suffering in the darkness. Reach out to help them. Be my rescue team!

A Word of Encouragement

We have been called to a high and mighty calling in Christ.

Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

What joy fills our hearts when we find one who is lost and they confess Jesus Christ as their new Lord.

Who spoke God’s word to you? Your parents or grandparents? Your friend or a co-worker or another student? Perhaps God sent a whole team of Christians to speak to you and love you over the years. I believe we are shining brightly to all who are lost.

An Action Item

Let’s take a few minutes to thank God for some of the life saving words He has spoken to us through other Christians. Thank Him for sending them and for them obeying Him to reach out to us. If they are still around, perhaps you could call and thank them yourself. 🙂
