Today’s Living Word – Pray

3–4 minutes

God Our Father Speaks Prophecy:

Yes, I speak to you today and every day that you come unto me with open ears to hear. I am faithful to you my children. A Father who plans for, protects and supplies all you need each day. Today is a day of calamity, many around the globe will be in harms way and they need your prayers. Practice praying for the things of God each day my beloved. Pray for peace for those who are troubled in heart and mind. Pray for the withholding of evil upon my family. Pray for good understanding of my words to those who are seeking and listening.

Pray for yourselves also to grow in service each day in the body of Christ. This is a soul-winning season for all who will reach out with my truth. This is a season of deliverance for all who will turn to my Son and receive him as Lord. Say yes to his call and yes to serving in the body as I have planted you. Be rooted deep in my love and hold tight to my faithful anchor as the waves come and the rocking begins. You are safe. You are covered; you are mine.

A Message of Encouragement

Today there is so much focus on self. What title do we have, job we do, money we earn, home we live in. Our identity in the world we live in and what others see is often the value that is placed on our lives. God’s view of us is very different from that of mankind. God calls us names that reflect His nature and blessings upon us, our position in His spiritual family. We are God’s children, His sons and daughters. We are His beloved, precious and acceptable to Him. We are saints, faithful, blessed with all spiritual blessings, chosen before the foundations of the world, and that’s just Ephesians 1 ! We are redeemed by the blood of His Son Jesus Christ, sanctified, justified, forgiven of all our sins, healed of all our sicknesses – REALLY – ALL of them!

God has given us an inheritance in Christ, the gift of holy spirit in the new birth, an eternal spirit that gives us access to God’s love, wisdom and power every day. We are seated in the heavenlies in Christ ( Eph. 1:19-23) and have dominion over all principalities and powers and every name that is named. That, my friends is our TRUE identity!

An Action Item

Do some reading in the church epistles (Romans through Thessalonians) and write down the titles we have. Titles given by God that reflect our standing in Christ. Enjoy the treasure hunt.

Victories and Blessings

I heard from a “follower” on our site this morning. He said that He has been utilizing the daily words as a study guide to spend time in the scriptures and prayer each day. He has set a tab to the Blue Letter Bible site, http://www.blueletterbible.org, on his computer to research the definitions as he learns.

Keep the messages coming in. They are helpful. God bless you!
